A blog of a mature Peace Corps Volunteer in Timor-Leste

Who am I?
My name is James McConville. I’m a 49 year old (soon to be 50) Engineer originally from Liverpool, UK. I’ve lived in France and the USA and worked for numerous car companies designing suspensions and body structures.
I am now a US Citizen and was able to apply and take an opportunity to be a US Peace Corps Community Economic Development volunteer in Timor-Leste. A complete life change for me.
This blog will be inspired by that move and my experience in Timor, PLUS I will throw in some other life experience Blog posts from my past such as my loves of cycling, electronic music, and my BMW 650i journey 😁
